About Us

The mission of Washington County Solid Waste (WCSW) is to manage the solid waste for Washington County residents and commercial entities in a manner that is environmentally sound, cost-effective, socially responsible, and safe.

Recycling

We want a sustainable world, and the first step to achieving that is through recycling. We have two key recycling programs established in our county to help achieve that goal: BluCan Curbside Recycling and Binnie Recycling. Our curbside garbage and recycling cans are easy to ease for the majority of your residential waste needs.

Landfill

Per WCSW Board Resolution 2010-10-1, Landfill tipping fees are waived for residents up to 2000 pounds per month. Standard fees apply above 2000 pounds. Commercial entities are charged the standard fee.

Paint Exchange Program

The Paint Exchange Program is a free service to both drop-off and shop for paint. Residents can bring quality new or used paint to the Washington County Landfill to participate in the Paint Exchange Program.
